This movie is about a former teacher diagnosed with bipolar disorder, who spends some time in a mental institution because of a court order due to him beating up the lover of his wife. The order also mandates him to move back in with his parents. The ex-teacher tries to find a silver lining in his life by trying to get his job back as a teacher and reconciling with his wife, only to end up falling for the widowed sister of his ex-wife.

14. Mulan (1998)

This animated movie tells the story of an old Chinese folktale about a girl who disguises herself as a man just so her father can be spared from joining the army to fight the invading Huns. She ends up becoming one of China’s greatest heroines in the process.

15. Nebraska (2013)
