Be the First to Watch These 10 Most Anticipated Anime in Spring 2019

Winter has brought us a great set of anime that are still ongoing, completing their pre-set episodes mark.

Anyway, as we are entering into the second quarter of the year, we’ve some great news for the anime fans across the globe. The spring anime 2019 is about to kickoff, and it packs some of the most anticipated anime that we’ve been waiting for years such as One Punch Man…Yeah, you heard that right. (More on it later)

Before we proceed, let us inform you that the list doesn’t contain any TV continuations since we’ve already discussed them in our winter anime 2019 blog post.

The following list contains the latest anime and new seasons. So, without further ado, let’s check out it out:

10 Must-Watch Spring Anime 2019

  1. One Punch Man 2

We’ve waited for two whole years for the hero in a red cape to reappear. Finally, Saitama, Genos and the band of heroes and villains are finally going to hit the screens again.

One Punch Man comes straight out of the webcomic by One. He’s the same manga artist who has brought us Mob Psycho. The story follows Saitama (a hero for fun) and Genos (a hero for revenge) who fight their way through a whole organization of monsters and villains, all the while climbing to new ranks.

In the last season, we saw Saitama killed various monsters, shattered a gigantic meteor, and beat the crap out of Lord Boros with his “consecutive punches” and a “serious punch.” In the second season, we will watch the heroes fight the more powerful opponents from Monster Association along with Garo, a ruthless yet highly-skilled martial artist.

The first season of OPM was created by the famous publishing house MadHouse that has, unfortunately, dropped the project. Now, JC Staff has promised to shoulder the project, even if the fans don’t like it. Anyway, fingers crossed!

Let’s wait and see how things unfold. The anime is set to air on April 2, 2019.

  1. Attack on Titans 3 (Part 2)

Attack on Titans, or better known as Shingeki no Kyojin, is yet another fan-favorite anime that we will get to watch in April 2019. The third season of the anime has been split into two parts.

In the last season (S3 Part 1), we witnessed Eric gain new abilities and uncover some hard-to-accept truths from the past. Plus, there were some brutal deaths, abnormal titans, and a coup that ended with a particular someone from the ranks of Eric becoming a princess.

In the new season, the people and the government behind the walls have become somewhat stabilized after a long decade. Now, the Survey Corps are all ready and prepared to venture into a new mission and discover new revelations in Shiganshina.

The part 2 of season 3 is all set to go live on April 18, 2019.

  1. Bungou Stray Dogs 3

The anime is an adaptation from the manga of the same name. The show boasts different individuals who have supernatural powers or abilities. Some use those abilities for vile purposes, while others use their abilities to stop evil characters of the society.

The show centers around an “Armed Detective Agency” that takes on cases which the government or military can’t handle on their own. Nakajima Atsushi, Dazai Osamu, and Doppo Kunikida are the key members of the agency, along with other individuals who take on different supernatural cases whilst solving the troubles that they conjure in their everyday lives.

  1. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

From the looks of the trailer, the anime looks promising. There’s action in it, some gore too, and a great story to look forward to.

The anime introduces us to Tanjiro Kamado who sells charcoal to make a living. The boy has a family and a cute little sister who he loves dearly. However, the sweet and peaceful days soon come to an end when the village is attacked by a group of Oni (demons) who slaughter Tanjiro’s family, leaving only him and his sister alive.

The story doesn’t end there. Tanjiro’s sister, Nezuko, has now become a demon but with some human emotions left. Now, Tanjiro commences on a journey with his sister, slaying demons in the way, avenging his loss and finding some way to turn his sister back to human.

She ends up living in the house where she also finds her classmate Yuki Sohma. As she enters into her new life with the Sohmas, she discovers that the Sohmas family has a secret that they don’t want to reveal.

Anyway, the good thing about the show is that it won’t be as messy as the previous TV series. This time the anime will be adapted entirely from the manga.
