Some of the responsibilities associated with this role include:

  • Design architecture for scale
  • Build, scale and lead our genuine engineering teams focused on delivering great products with the aim to deliver best-in-class shopping experience
  • Lead and assist in technical solutioning
  • Create developer first experience in the product
  • Own technical delivery
  • Play the role of the leader for the engineering org
  • Work closely with product counterparts to define and implement product and technology strategy and KPIs with a strong focus on Engineering
  • Oversee the development of your team’s projects and encourage cross-functional collaboration to iterate on new product developments
  • Ensure compliance with security regulations
  • Monitor budget, expenses, facilitate project delivery and support

Some of the skills and traits that will serve you well for this role:

  • Extensive and in-depth exposure to both cloud and physical Infrastructures
  • Diverse experience of dealing with complex software architectures in large organizations known for great engineering culture
  • Business sense, finance and program management nous
  • Already worked in or inclination to work in a product development environment
  • Possess a glass half full mentality, not a naysayer
