The Southeast Asian Games (also known as the 2019 SEA Games) is a multi-sport event that takes place in the SEA region every two years. The competition features 11 participating countries from which over 9000 athletes make their way to the venue to compete in a total of 530 different events spread out across 56 sports.
This year, the 2019 Southeast Asian Games is set to take place in the Philippines. However, since this year’s competition is going to be marked by the first major decentralization, the venues are going to be spread out across 23 different cities in the country.
The opening ceremony of the event is going to take place on November 30, 2019, while the Closing ceremony will be held on December 11, 2019.
