PureVPN Patching Up All 450+ Servers With Latest OS Updates

PureVPN

Team PureVPN will soon be starting patching up all 450+ servers with latest OS patches available to date. This update is part of Team PureVPN’s continuous efforts to maintain optimum security and performance across all 450+ PureVPN servers in 70+ countries.

As always, PureVPN is publishing this update so that all its users are aware of the maintenance being carried out and possible hiccups in service.

Server Maintenance Process

All PureVPN servers will be updated one by one rather than all at the same time. While it is a tiresome process, it will help us minimize possible downtime. Through this update, Team PureVPN will install the latest OS patches for better security and performance on all servers.

Once a server has been updated with the latest OS patches, it will need to be rebooted. That is when a user might experience a downtime. Needless to say, it only takes a few moments for a server to reboot and get online again. Still, PureVPN users are advised to simply ‘reconnect’ their VPN connection if they get disconnected.

Server Maintenance Schedule

Starting Date: 10th Oct, 2014
Starting Time: 6:00 PM Hong Kong Time
Ending Date: 12th Oct, 2014
Ending Time: 00:00 AM Hong Kong Time
Expected Issues or Outcomes: VPN Disconnection Due to Server Rebooting.

Team PureVPN is making its best efforts to run the maintenance tasks without affecting PureVPN services. It is hoped that users won’t face any problems during the process.
