Meet Sameed, PureVPN’s Content Producer

One of the guys as the content lead at PureVPN that I get to work on most often is Sameed Ajax, who is a Digital Content Producer at PureVPN. I’m pleased to share his spotlight.

Why does he love PureVPN? I really can’t even edit this comment, it’s so beautiful.

“PureVPN gave me wings to fly, like literally. I can openly share and execute ideas with teams. This is something I wasn’t able to achieve in previous companies. The company culture is tailored for growth hackers which is awesome.”

So, what does a typical writer’s day in WFH quarantine look like? Sameed starts off his morning by listening to his morning playlist and then reading some quotes on his phone to get into “an attacking mode. I usually start my work with a cup of tea and dive headfirst into my assignments. My attention span is too short so I take frequent breaks doing the stuff I like the most, which includes a power nap and playing FIFA (I hope my manager doesn’t read this) (Manager’s response: we’re all allowed to take breaks as long as we get our work done). After I am done with my work, I eat a large dinner and watch reruns of Daredevil. I read books too but lately I have been slacking off quite a bit.”

What else does he watch? In addition to Daredevil, Sameed is a fan of Breaking Bad, Ozark, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Let’s judge his home screen for a moment:

Clean, minimalist, focused on information, design, and communication. I like that. To that end, Sameed says that his favorite things to do include watching and playing football, obsessing over FIFA, reading self-help books, writing Medium blogs, and creating YouTube videos. We think it fits.

When the pandemic is over, he will head to Spain (a place he’s wanted to go to since he was a kid) to watch El Clasico live. But more realistically, if he could get a free weekend, he would drive a sports car and buy lots of sneakers (the whole store, perhaps).

Sameed’s preferences:

• Summer or winter? Always summer.
• Morning or night? Morning
• Coffee or tea? Tea
• The mountains or the beach? The beach is full of life.
• Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Amazon Prime, BBC, or Disney+? Watching Disney+ is very couch-comfy. 
• Facebook, reddit, TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, or LinkedIn? Instagram because I like sharing pictures and stories. 
• The animal he would want to be if given the chance: A shark because he loves swimming and being an alpha. 

What else does Sameed want us to know? “Even though I don’t look like an empathetic person,” he says “I am empathetic.” 

I’m not sure what an empathetic person looks like, but you do a good job, Sameed. Keep on being you.
