We’re Dreamers, Too

We started PureVPN in a basement, with limited resources. Even in our humble beginnings, we
worked to infuse top quality into everything we did.

Over the last two decades, privacy challenges have inspired us to do more, and hold ourselves to the highest possible standards
of Internet security.

As a result, we stood out from the crowd to deliver a reliable VPN that puts our customers’ privacy first. Today, PureVPN is run
by a team of hundreds of brilliant minds from around the world.

We only plan to keep growing.

OUR core values

What Matters to Us

  • Believe in what we do.

PureVPN uses strong authentication at every level of our hardware and software.

Server access is managed in a central place, where each server request is reviewed. If the request is safe, access is granted with a time limit and a one-time password (OTP).

The place where we store PureVPN’s source code is also protected by a Multi-Factor Authentication process.

And, every IP address that can access our servers must be on our pre-approved list.

  • Be human, design for humans.

How We Have Evolved

Present Day

Your privacy is always our top priority.

We aim to remain accountable and deliver on our brand promises.

That’s why we are the only VPN company with a surprise audit agreement with Well known audit firm.

We have also joined hands with I2C coalition to support the VPN Trust Initiative.

We continue to serve you with 6500+ servers in 78+ countries and a network bandwidth up to 20 Gbps.

In 2021, we have moved our head of operations to the British Virgin Islands to continue delivering high-quality Internet security to more than 3 million+ satisfied customers.

2019 – 2020

Adding dedicated product teams to enhance performance, we ensured that users could connect to our VPN network in no more than 5 secs. Our stance on maintaining complete user privacy also led to a successful no-log audit by Well known audit firm, one of the top-4 IT auditing brands.

2017 – 2018

These were the years when PureVPN rose to distinction by launching the most loved PureVPN’s chrome and firefox proxy entensions. We were also among the first few in the industry to comply with GDPR policies. We introduced Nat’d and Non-Nat’d servers, added port-forwarding add-on, and more.

2015 – 2016

Now that we had reached over a million VPN users, it was time to strengthen up our service by releasing new app updates that were better than ever before! We also added some much-demanded features such as Ad Blocker, Secure DNS, and Malware Protection.

2013 – 2014

Technology is ever-evolving, which is why our VPN apps needed advanced tweaking and some new features. The result was the introduction of new add-ons like NAT firewall and incredible features like the Internet Kill Switch. As PureVPN became more advanced, our user-base rose to more than 200,000 users.

2011 – 2012

Focusing on offering a better user experience, we also released apps for Android and iOS so that users can stay connected from anywhere and on any device.

2009 – 2010

While our server footprint expanded all over the world, we also released futuristic apps for both Windows and Mac platforms.

2007 – 2008

Being the only bootstrapped VPN brand in this business, PureVPN had to start from scratch. In its second year, PureVPN expanded from 2 servers to 16 global servers.

Start

Young graduates, Uzair and Aaqib, built PureVPN so that people could use the internet the way it was meant to be used.
