XLink Kai, created by Team XLink, allows users to play video games online while still supporting LAN multiplayer modes. 

The program is installed on a Microsoft Windows, Linux, or macOS device connected to the console’s network and serves as tunneling software. 

The requests from the console are forwarded to the computer when the “network play” feature of a game is started on the console. 

Due to the fact that XLink Kai’s traffic must pass through your device’s firewall, you must put up a rule to permit traffic on the port, i.e., UDP: 30000.

  5. Enter the IP address of your gaming device in your router in the correct box.
  6. Put the UDP port of Xlink Kai server in the boxes in your router. The default port number UDP is 30000.
  7. Then click the apply button.
  8. And you’re done. Restart your router to let the changes take effect.
  9. Once your changes take effect, now you can connect to Call of Duty 4.

To play the game online and create a server without any interruptions, you’ll have to allow access to certain ports on your firewall. The default ports are:
