The Role:

As our Growth Specialist you will have the exciting responsibility of working with Chief Growth Officer directly, part product manager, part marketer and all-time hacker focusing on Engagement, Retention, Referral, Subscription, Churn, Loyalty, and Reactivation topics. You will be a key member of the Growth Leadership team and collaborate across all levels and departments within the organization especially with core marketing, partnerships as well as Performance marketing teams. You have a deep passion for aggressively engaging and making customers become advocates and power users of your product(s). Growth hackers and Managers have a hustler-like personality, not believing in limits and always striving to achieve the unreasonable. This is a role that requires you to dream big for attaining growth, and then make those dreams a reality. Growth hackers & managers are obsessed with measurement, always tracking, and analyzing the effectiveness of different initiatives. This position will play a very important role in scaling the company and solving complex problems on the life cycle of PureSquare’s customer life cycle. You will play a role part manager, part product owner, and part scientist. This is a senior role with a mix of managerial, strategical, and technical skills. You will command an experienced and strong squad formed of many technical people to generate and experiment ideas, scale and automate the successful strategies to unlock growth throughout the first phase of the customer funnel, fundamentally for Retention, Engagement and Reactivation

Responsibilities

  • Define, test, and evaluate growth initiatives to improve retention rate and decrease churn. Period.
  • Identify the opportunities on the product funnel and work together with product and engineering teams to experiment and implement changes to tackle more growth through harvesting, reactivation and building segmented approach.
  • Build and own Lifetime Value of the Customer based on strong Data science and Experimentation with the support of various teams.
  • Work closely with digital marketing team to guide on targeting and new strategies to do reactivation retargeting through digital.
  • Drive massive upticks in owned metrics.
  • Understand and optimize loyalty and viral side to unlock growth.
  • Work on a cross-functional growth hacker team that is responsible for driving user growth through experimentation and prototyping.
  • Analyze and report growth success to the management aka build and manage dashboards to track metrics you defined for growth.
  • Manage and optimize campaign budgets over different channels to bring efficient growth.
  • Do whatever it takes to achieve exponential growth in all our markets or cities.

Requirements:

  • You have 4-9 years of work experience and have a degree from an accredited university.
  • Currently working in a role at a tech company (preferably mobile internet industry) is a must.
  • Preferably from Computer, Industrial or other Engineering perspective (Optional)
  • You are skilled at Excel (must), SQL (must), Python (very nice to have). (The level of these will be tested via online test)
  • You are good at data analytics and love making value out of data.
  • You are very comfortable with writing scripts to automate data and reporting processes very effectively (big plus for HTML/CSS/JS skills or other programming languages)
  • You will have a big plus if you have a know-how on relational database structures.
  • You have a love of finding out of the box ways to solve problems.
  • You have a solid track record of driving massive user growth at consumer-facing start-ups/large organizations and have high user empathy.
  • You could seamlessly transition from high-level creative brainstorming to conducting and analyzing experiments and sweating the details.
  • You have a deep understanding of large social web and mobile platforms & social/viral mechanics.
  • You are team-focused and highly collaborative.
  • You have an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Super Fluent in English language, data analysis and product.
  • You are obsessed with getting things done and finding a way to do it.
