Product Marketing Manager owns the go-to-market strategy and works on the most mission-critical problems at the company. We are the critical connection from the product to the customer.

This is an exciting individual contributor role that requires exceptional collaboration skills. You will be the first member of the Product Marketing team and partner closely with Product Management and other teams across our portfolio of exciting cyber security products. You will do necessary pre analysis and create solid outbound GTM campaigns to drive product adoption and retention. The successful candidate will be a passionate, creative, and data-driven individual with strong influential skills.

This is a central role and requires a unique blend of business, technical acumen, and peer-to-peer collaboration; including the ability to zoom out and see the big picture, but also the willingness and intellectual prowess to zoom in to the finer details that need to be addressed when launching features to millions of users. You will work closely with important stakeholders in the company to understand the market and the issues they face and to identify and implement innovative GTM campaigns across different markets. Working across all areas of the company, you will serve as an internal/external liaison between product, design, operations, commercial, growth and C-Level.

What You’ll Do

You will:

  • Know your audience:
  • Collaborate with insights, growth, and analytics teams to understand the deficiencies in the current user journey and understand barriers to adoption
  • Creating industry and competitive analyses to support the go-to-market strategy for new products/regions/verticals.
  • Synthesize both qualitative and quantitative feedback on products from users and build an audience prioritization framework.
  • Bring products to market that people love and talk about:
  • Create the go-to-market plan to build effective launch strategies tailored to each of our core markets, including understanding the addressable market, setting target audience and objectives, developing compelling creative assets/value messaging, and ensuring we drive product and features awareness and customer demand.
  • Lead the development of product and features messaging and positioning, ensuring a consistent brand narrative with an eye toward competitive differentiation.
  • Identify and develop long term, scalable product education initiatives and opportunities to ensure that our customers are always able to easily realize and convey the full value of our products, including sales training, product collaterals, FAQs and launch playbooks.
  • Measure the impact:
  • Partner with the analytics teams to measure the incremental impact of your initiatives
  • Understand what customers are doing on the platform and translate those insights into actionable recommendations that promote business objectives and drive tangible results.

Who You Are

What you need for this role:

  • You have 7 – 10 years of work experience in a B2C/B2B marketing role for a direct-to-customer digital product or service, with a record of launching products or platforms. We would love it if some of that experience is related to startups, technology, and FMCG. Have a degree from an accredited university.
  • Multiyear experience within one of the spaces are preferred; like: Tech & Online Products, Gaming, Marketplaces, FMCG, Customer Marketing technologies, Fintech.
  • Passion for getting data and increasing usage in the product because people love using it.
  • Ability to effectively lead multiple GTM launch cycles and work autonomously
  • Strong influential skills, you need to be able to sell your strategy with key stakeholders and gain buy-in
  • You are an excellent communicator with any audience executive, business, design, or technology.
  • Knowledge of leading and conducting quantitative and qualitative market research in multiple markets, to gain relevant insights and the ability to share obtained intelligence effectively with internal teams.
  • You are good at data analytics and enjoy making value out of data
  • You have a love of finding out of the box ways to solve problems
  • You have a deep understanding of the social web, mobile platforms & social/viral mechanics
  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally and with management at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
