Data Privacy Day
Data Privacy Day or Data Protection Day is a global event that takes place on January 28th of each year. The day is observed as a holiday and its purpose is to increase awareness, encourage the concept of privacy and have data protection practices in place.
The campaign is currently observed in the United States, Canada, Israel, and 47 European countries. The campaign is led by the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) and privacy professionals who align privacy concerns and present-day operations in a practical way.
Safer Internet Day
Safer Internet Day or SID took place on February 5th, 2021. The campaign’s slogan, “Together for a better internet”, was a wakeup call for all those who are concerned about security on the internet, to work together in creating a safer internet for everyone, and particularly for kids.
