There are two ways to go. You can use a third party add-on like Indigo or Ares Wizard to uninstall the build but if you deem it unsafe for any reason, you can put in a little extra effort and remove it manually by following these simple steps.

  • Step 1:Check if your file explorer has the ‘hidden items’ box checked or not.
    For Windows: Click on the View tab and check the ‘hidden items’ box.
    For Android: Open file manager, click on the menu button, open ‘settings’, and check the ‘hidden items’ box.
  • Step 2:Now that you can view all hidden folders and files, search for your platform in the list, navigate to the location and delete all folders and files.
    For Windows 7, 8-8.1: Paste “%APPDATA%\kodi\userdata” in the run box on the start menu.
    For Windows 10: Paste “%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\XBMCFoundation.Kodi_4n2hpmxwrvr6p\Lo” in the run box.
    For Mac: Paste “/Users//Library/Application Support/Kodi/userdata/” in the run box.
    For Linux: Open a terminal and paste “~/.kodi/userdata/”.
    For Android: Delete “userdata” and “addons” folders from “Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/”.
    For iOS: “/private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/Kodi/userdata/”

Note: Use all of the above-mentioned commands without the quotation marks.
